One important factor we should know about 2-pyrrolidone is about its appearance. Its solidifying poine 25.6ºC. That is to say, 2-pyrrolidone is liquid form when temperature above 25.6ºC. But it may crystalizes (solid) when temperature becomes lower than 25.6ºC. But this is only in theroy. In reality, our experence tells us that the temperature range is 23-25° C (solidifying point).
